"Comparing to other hotels it had it's ups and downs. The manager was friendly and when the first room had a strong oder (like burnt rubber or eletrical fire type smell)we asked for another room. He couldn't smell it but readily agreed and gave us another room. The first had a microwave and refrigerator which would have been nice but we didnt' miss it as the second one did not. The carpet and bedspreads were bright and appeared clean though the bathroom showed some signs of age. Both room's TV's were newer and had cable with a great picture. Airconditioning worked good and the mattresses were comfortable. (The place we stayed the night before had a hard mattress and I slept much better here.) We were glad also we moved from the outside room which faced I-40's exit ramp so we wouldn't hear the 18 wheelers downshifting all night. The outside was plain and the pool clean but a bit stark but overall for the price I would rate it slightly above average."
